String Poets strives to create an unique and sophisticated ambience for your guests and yourself by bringing together the most professional and highly skilled group of performers.
Professional string ensembles are located within The Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. The ensembles we have are comprised of string quartets, duos Trios, Solo Violinists, Solo Cellists Jazz Ensembles, and Pianists. We serve Maryland, Virginia, and the mid-atlantic region.
String Poets is a group of experienced, professional and reliable musicians who are reliable, experienced and trustworthy. Since we've been around we've played for weddings and exclusive dinners and corporate events, and many more events. Our expertise allows us to collaborate with each client to ensure that they are satisfied with our services and of the entire event.
Baroque (Vivaldi, Bach, Boccherini) Classical (Mozart Massenet) romantic (Elgar, Faure, Schubert, Brahms ...), French variety (Piaf, Brel), film music and international music, including international ( Star Wars, Game of Thrones) and Tangos (Piazzolla), Pop, Jazz and Rock. It is 6 hours of entertainment, which can be tailored to meet the needs of our clients. It is possible to create transcriptions of string quartets if you're looking for particular works that aren't included within the set of repertoire.
We host over 150 receptions and ceremonies every year. We've learned the art of flexibility, timing and the art of performing. We're also able to accommodate to the many wedding ceremonies as well as demands for tunes. Our extensive repertoire includes everything from traditional and classical songs to jazz and pop. If you are unable to find your preferred song on our playlist of songs, feel free to reach us for a suggestion on how to include itand we'll do our best to create the perfect track for your special occasion.

Hi Radhi, I am writing to let you what an amazing addition you and your string quartet were to the wedding. I only wish I could have been more appreciative on Sunday and that I could have talked with you at length, but alas, I was quite caught up in my wedding. When I first heard you playing I was getting ready in the bridal quarters and, while I am proud to say that I did not cry at all during my wedding, I almost became a faucet when I first heard you play! It was so beautiful! When I heard you play the very first notes, it was like my wedding was starting at that very moment and the whole day was brought to life. It was at that moment that it all began, as all my bridesmaids and flower girls prepared for the processional and scampered around the room to the lovely music that you played. All of my guests have repeated the sentiments to me that you added a beautiful touch to the event. I will recommend you for future weddings or any lovely event where your playing would be appropriate. You are a very talented man for having put together such an amazing group, but even more importantly, you espouse a love and happiness that transcends your music. The extra effort that you made to specialize the songs was more than many others would have done for me! I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. You and your group did an amazing job at our wedding reception. The music was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better. Your professionalism was amazing and we got so many compliments on you guys. My only regret is that I did not get the chance to thank you personally after the ceremony. You definitely made our ceremony more special and gave it that romantic touch we were looking for. Again, thank you so much. I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the wonderful job you did at my daughter Sarah’s wedding at the Baltimore Basilica Saturday. Although I didn't even have time to speak to any of the performers on the day of. My family and friends that dealt with them thought very highly of them. The music was perfect for the ceremony and Radhi Santos was very accommodating via email when I was working two jobs before the wedding and had little time to go over things.
